I first met Jaclyn and Greg at their engagement session back in April. They brought their undeniably adorable daughter, Saige, who made the photos all the more spectacular. I immediately fell in love with this beautiful little family and their obvious bond together.
When I arrived at Edgewater Manor on the afternoon of Jaclyn and Greg’s wedding, I was taken aback at how gorgeous the grounds were. I had never been before, and so I took a walk through the beautiful building with winding staircase, and colourful gardens where the ceremony was to be held. This place is a photographer’s dream!
Soon after, Jaclyn and her girls pulled up to the back entrance and made their way upstairs to the bridal suite. This is when Jaclyn’s father brought Saige to her, and all of our hearts melted seeing them together in their dresses.
After some last minute touch-ups, it was time for the girls to make their way outside to line up for the ceremony. One of the photos Jaclyn had sent me prior to their big day was of a bride on the staircase at Edgewater Manor - she wanted a picture like this, and I could not have been happier to oblige! If I do say so myself, we did even better than the original.
I grabbed one last candid shot of Jaclyn and her father before the ceremony began.
Jaclyn and Greg’s ceremony was beautiful, set outside in the gardens at Edgewater Manor surrounded by flowers.
After their brief ceremony, we set out to take some group shots of the bridal party, as well as with family, and finally some photos of the newlywed couple on their own.
After the formal portraits, we went inside for Jaclyn and Greg’s first dance. All of their family and friends stood around them with tears in their eyes.
After a few speeches and some delicious dinner, Jaclyn, Greg and I ran out to catch the sunset over Lake Ontario.
When we came back inside, it was time for Jaclyn’s dance with her father - my third favourite relationship of the day!
As the night progressed, we ran out to catch a couple of night shots before it was time for me to head out. Thank you so much to Jaclyn and Greg for choosing me to capture their gorgeous day!
