The Spice Factory Wedding: Sophia and Jeff

It was a beautiful July afternoon when I arrived at The Spice Factory in Hamilton, Ontario. It was a wedding day that I got to spend all at one location - which is the easiest, breeziest way!

After about half an hour with the groom and his groomsmen, I headed up to the third floor of The Spice Factory to get a few photographs of the beautiful bride and her girls getting ready.

By 1:45pm it was time to capture the bride and groom’s first look! In case you haven’t read that blog, I am always team first look. We decided to do it up on the third floor where the moody lighting made for the perfect atmosphere. We then explored the gorgeous grounds of The Spice Factory for some couple photos.

The wedding party joined us for some group shots as well! But not before a PIZZA was ordered!

At 4pm it was wedding ceremony time - and a unique ceremony it was. Sophia and Jeff had each member of their wedding party help the officiant!

Right after their ceremony, cocktail hour began on the main floor. After a beautiful welcome speech, the couple went straight into their first dance.

By 6:30pm, it was dinner time! Their reception was held on the second floor with a beautiful brick backdrop.

And finally, party time came around 8pm when guests were invited back down to the first floor.

As always, thank you to my fellow wedding vendors for the day:
